Anthony Conway receives the Henri Fehr Prize 2017

Anthony Conway receives the 2017 Henri Fehr Prize for the best thesis in mathematics.
The prize will be awarded on November 21, 2017, at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Science.

With 2,000 Swiss francs, the Henri Fehr Prize is awarded by the journal L'Enseignement Mathématique at the suggestion of the College des Professeurs of the Section of Mathematics. It rewards the best doctoral thesis in mathematics of the year at the University of Geneva.

L'Enseignement Mathématique is an international journal founded in 1899 by Henri Fehr (Geneva) and Charles-Ange Laisant (Paris). It publishes research articles in various fields, and preference is given to articles of which at least a part is accessible to a broad audience of mathematicians. Fehr was the editor in chief for fifty years until 1954.
