Apéritif en musique suivie d’une projection spécialement pour vous du tout nouveau film comique «PhD Movie 2: Still in Grad School»!
Sorti cet automne, le film jette un regard humoristique sur le monde académique à travers les yeux de quatre étudiants diplômés. Thèmes abordés: concurrence dans la recherche, blocage de l'écrivain, (perte de) motivation et quête de soi…Fou rire assuré!
Tourné à l'Institut de Technologie de Californie, le film sera projeté en anglais.

Evening buffet with music followed by the screen of the new comic movie "PhD Movie 2: Still in Grad School"
"Piled Higher and Deeper: Still in Grad School" is the sequel to the film adaptation of the popular comic strip "Piled Higher and Deeper" by Jorge Cham (phdcomics.com - phdmovie.com). Like the comics and the first movie, the film takes a smart and humorous look at the world of Academia through the eyes of four grad students, and features real academics (including a Nobel Prize winner!) in many of the roles. The PHD Movie 2 looks at themes of competition in research, writer's block, and finding your voice.... The movie was filmed on location at the California Institute of Technology and will be screened in english.
