Radial migration of fluorescent (GFP) cells (pyramidal progenitor cells) during post-natal rat brain development

Ex-vivo coronal rat brain organotypic slice (300μm) was deposited on a porous membrane insert (millipore) and maintained in a chamber at 37°C and 5% CO2 during all the acquisition period (#12 hours). Z stacks (depth= 50-80 μm) were acquired every 10 minutes with a NIKON A1 microscope. This sequence corresponds to a Z max projection (one single plan) (NIS Elements AR software). (Image source: ©M.
