Patrycja Nowak-Sliwinska was awarded the prestigious European Certified Pharmacologist (EuCP) designation

The CRTOH is pleased to announce that Professor Patrycja Nowak-SliwinskaPhD, DSc was awarded the prestigious European Certified Pharmacologist (EuCP) designation. This diploma is awarded jointly by the European Federation of Pharmacological Societies (EPHAR) and the European Association for Clinical and Therapeutic Pharmacology (EACPT).

Associate Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Geneva, Patrycja also serves as Vice-President of the School. She leads the Cancer Systems Pharmacology Group, a multidisciplinary research team dedicated to understanding and optimizing therapeutic strategies for cancer using systems pharmacology approaches.

She holds appointments at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Western Switzerland and is a member of the Translational Research Center in Oncohaematology (CRTOH) steeting committee in Geneva. She is also affiliated with the Swiss Cancer Center Léman (SCCL) in Lausanne, contributing to collaborative efforts in translational cancer research across institutions.

Her work bridges experimental pharmacology, systems biology, and oncology, aiming to develop more effective and personalized anticancer therapies through a deep mechanistic understanding of drug interactions and tumor biology.
