Transplantation and Immunology

The research aims of this group is mainly focused on hematopoietic stem cell transplantations and organ transplantations. For the hematopoietic stem cell transplantations, our interest is in the TCR repertoire reconstitution after transplantations and factors that contribute to modulate this repertoire especially infections and any other inflammatory events (GVHD, relapse, ...). The group is also very active in understanding the mechanism of alloreactivity with the analysis of clinical data at the immunogenetics (HLA) level but also by in vitro cellular essay. Finally, the group is active at a more clinical level by analyzing the contribution of anti-HLA antibodies in the complications and graft survival of solid organ transplantations including kidneys, livers and pancreas.

Specific expertise

MHC analysis, immunogenetics, TCR repertoire analysis, translational research with accessibility to sample from human cohorts.
