New MOOC on “Global Health at the Human-Animal-Ecosystem Interface”

Join our new MOOC “Global Health at the Human-Animal-Ecosystem Interface” on Coursera! With a highly transdisciplinary and international approach and with a large panel of prominent experts from academia, international organisations and NGOs, this MOOC addresses some of the major current challenges and opportunities in “Global Health at the Human-Animal-Ecosystem Interface”.

Both health risks, including zoonotic emerging infections, antimicrobial resistance, rabies, snakebites etc., but also opportunities for health promotion through biodiversity conservation and contact with nature, are extensively covered in this MOOC bringing some of the latest scientific evidence, concepts and tools. This MOOC stresses on the importance of cross-sectoral approaches such as One Health, Eco-Health and Planetary Health in the SDGs era and will set an interesting ground for innovative thinking and discussions.

This MOOC was produced in partnership between the University of Geneva, Institute Pasteur and its global network, the Centre Virchow-Villermé for Public Health Paris-Berlin/Université Paris Descartes, University of Montreal, and thanks to the excellent contribution by experts from other institutions based in Geneva and beyond.
