Presentation: I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva. I completed my doctorate (PhD) in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021 with a focus on the mechanics and assessment of shoe outsole tread for preventing slips and falls. I also studied gait biomechanics during slipping and applications of user-centered design for device development. My current work is developing intelligent footwear for people with diabetes to prevent ulcers and subsequent amputations.
