Dr. Bascuas Castillo, Ph.D in Biological Science, began her career with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in molecular biology and microbiology. In her subsequent Ph.D, she acquired extensive knowledge of immunology, particularly related to tumors and cancer vaccination. She has expertise in cell culture, genetic engineering, gene therapy and animal experimentation. She has been trained in GMP-grade production and is one of the designated GTMP (Gene Therapy Medicinal Product) production operators in the TargetAMD clinical trial.
