Research statement:
I am interested in understanding how large-scale brain networks dynamically interact to produce behaviour that is adaptive to the current environmental context. To do so, I combine fMRI with continuous behavioural responses, peripheral bodily data and other (neuroimaging) methodologies in order to gain an integrated view on human brain processing.
Research expertise:
1. Methodologies: fMRI, TMS, EMG, Psychophysiology
2. Multimodal data acquisition
3. Experimental Design
3. Stimulus Presentation (using Psychtoolbox) and synchronization with different types of data acquisition (psychophysiology, eye-tracker, fMRI, etc.).
4. fMRI data analysis (analysis software: SPM/Matlab)
5. Pre-processing of psychophysiological (EDA, cardiac, respiration) and EMG data and their inclusion in fMRI analyses
