The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships are among the most recognised distinctions awarded by the European Commission in the field of research. Allocated on a selective basis at the international level, they support postdoctoral researchers carrying independent research projects, evaluated by an international panel of experts on the basis of their scientific quality and potential impact. Three new fellows will carry out their research at the Faculty of Medicine.

Sofia Peressotti joins the Department of Psychiatry under the supervision of Professor Valerio Zerbi. Her project aims to improve cell replacement therapies for Parkinson's disease through temporal interference stimulation.

Annalisa Lella joins the Department of Psychiatry under the supervision of Dr Matthias Kirschner. Her project investigates the connectivity of thalamic nuclei across the psychosis continuum.

Sandra Martin joins the Department of Basic Neurosciences under the supervision of Professor Alexis Hervais-Adelman. Her project examines predictive dynamics in language comprehension across the ageing process.
