Two minutes with... Noémie Colongo

Noémie Colongo, who starts her 3rd year of human medicine this autumn, is also a member of the AEMG Committee, where she coordinates the sub-associations that make it up and supports the implementation of the various projects. Why medicine? A former teddy bear doctor at the Hôpital des Nounours, Noémie is committed to medicine. The diversity of her studies and the profession that awaits her, where every day is different, is also what attracts her.

Away from the CMU, she is also a talented oboist. While medicine will be her profession, music remains a passion and a balance.

On the 9th of September, the UNIGE Faculty of Medicine's Institute of Global Health welcomed over 300 participants from diverse backgrounds to discuss the challenges facing the development and scale-up of integrated health networks in Switzerland. These are major political and economic issues on which research provides a solid academic perspective.

Reforming for better training: medical education reinvents itself

The Faculty of Medicine is embarking on an ambitious reform of medical education. This project, called ENSI 23-27, aims to meet current needs while incorporating the challenges of artificial intelligence and changes in healthcare practices. Major discussions are also underway on the 1st year of medical studies, in Geneva as elsewhere in Switzerland.
