A PHYM lab got a cover in Cell Metabolism

The laboratory of Prof. Mirko Trajkovski from the Department of cell physiology and metabolism in collaboration with the laboratory of Prof. Doron Merkler from the Department of pathology and immunology got an issue cover in the prestigious journal Cell Metabolism for their recent paper entitled "Cold exposure protects from neuroinflammation through immunologic reprogramming".

The article reveals that cold exposure alleviates the symptoms of multiple sclerosis by favouring energetic trade-off between thermogenesis and neuroinflammation, leading to a constrained autoimmune response. Read the whole press release on the article here.
