Apr 7: seminar from Alessandro Sartori
On Thursday 7th of April, Alessandro SARTORI, Institute of Molecular Cancer Research, University of Zurich, invited by Prof. Monica GOTTA & Prof. Patrick MERALDI, will give a conference entitled “Establishing the DNA repair nuclease FAN1 as a genome caretaker”.
The conference will take place on Thursday 7th of April at 2pm in the room B04.2222.
His research group aims to gain molecular and genetic insights into the interplay between DNA damage signaling and repair in human cells, with a particular focus on the repair of DNA double-strand breaks. A detailed knowledge of the players acting in double-strand breaks repair processes is crucial to improve current cancer therapies and suggest novel strategies to fight this disease.
