Volodymyr Petrenko won the A-F Müller award

Volodymyr Petrenko from the Dibner lab won the Alex-F. Müller prize of clinical physiopathology for his scientific paper entitled “In Pancreatic Islets from Type 2 Diabetes Patients, the Dampened Circadian Oscillators Lead to Reduced Insulin and Glucagon Exocytosis”.

Researchers were able to demonstrate the link between disturbances of the circadian clocks in pancreatic cells and type 2 diabetes, then to correct these disturbances.
