A rich conference from Niklas Mejhert
On 23rd of November, Niklas Mejhert, from the Department of Medicine, Karolinska Institute, Sweden, invited by Prof. Mirko Trajkovski gave a rich conference entitled “Spatial mapping reveals human adipocyte subpopulations with distinct sensitivities to insulin”.
His research group co-directed with Mikael Rydén studies multiple features of the human white adipocyte, in particular lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, energy storage capacity and immunometabolism. For more details, see his website.
