PHYM members shine at LS2 physiology meeting

This past September 6th 2021, during the annual meeting of the LS2 Physiology Section, two PhD students and one postdoctoral fellow won Young Investigator Awards.

 

In the category PhD students, the prize for the second best oral presentation went to Camille Rabesahala de Meritens from the laboratory of Pr. Nicolas Demaurex for her excellent presentation entitled “Neutrophil Extracellular Trap (NET) formation in mice with STIM1/2 myeloid-specific ablation”.

 

In the category PhD students, the award of the best poster-flash talk went to Christopher Henry from the laboratory of Prof. Nicolas Demaurex for his excellent poster entitled "Enforced tethering elongates the cortical endoplasmic reticulum and limits store-operated calcium entry".

 

In the category postdocs, the award of the best poster-flash talk went to Mehdi Badaoui from the laboratory of Prof. Marc Chanson for his excellent poster entitled "CFTR dysfunction causes a post-transcriptional imbalance towards mRNA stabilization of a guanine exchange factor by the RNA-binding protein HuR".
