Registration for the 2018 Symposium on Metabolism now open

The 2018 Symposium on Metabolism, co-organized by the PHYM’s Prof. Roberto Coppari, affiliate PHYM member Dr. Charna Dibner, and sponsored by University of Geneva’s Diabetes Center, will take place 17-18 October 2018 at the Auditorium Marcel-Jenny at the HUG.

The Symposium boasts a special session focused on the interplay between circadian clocks and metabolism, paying homage to the recent 2017 Nobel prize in Physiology for the discovery of clock genes, and including lectures by leaders in the field such as Profs. Ueli Schibler (U. Geneva) and Paolo Sassone-Corsi (UC Irvine). It will additionally include talks on diverse topics such as islet cells and diabetes, liver physiology and pathophysiology, as well as a lecture by Senior Editor at Nature Metabolism Elena Bellafante. 

Registration is open until Oct 1st, and is free for UNIGE members.
