The excellence of PHYM young researchers rewarded

This past Tues Sept 3rd  2019, during the annual meeting of the LS2 Physiology Section in Bern, two PHYM students won Young Investigator awards.

 

The first place for best talk went to PhD student Axel Tollance from the group of Dr. Maud Frieden for his excellent presentation entitled “Determination of the quiescence and activation mechanisms of human muscle reserve cells”.

The second place for best talk went to postdoctoral researcher Mehdi Badaoui from the group of Prof. Marc Chanson for his excellent presentation entitled “The RhoGTPase activator Vav3 controls Pseudomonas aeruginosa adherence to the Cystic Fibrosis airway epithelium”.
