Alexandre joined the lab in 2021 as postdoctoral fellow. He investigates the process of asymmetry/symmetry in human cell division. He graduated in Cellular Biology at the University of Rennes, where he obtained his PhD on the asymmetric cell division of the Drosophila melanogaster neural stem cells. He is fascinated by the mechanism of mitotic spindle assembly and the role and regulation of the myriad of proteins involved in this process.
During his spare time, he likes running and hiking in the close mountains, as well as reading and travelling.
