Denis did his Master in the group of Prof. Rüegg in Basel. He then joined the group of Prof. Castets for his PhD in 2016 and defended in 2020. During his PhD, Denis focused on NMJ alterations in Myotonic Dystrophy type I, and the role of calcium-associated signaling pathways in the disease.
