In vitro translation in cell-free protein systems (CFPS) as a tool for translation studies

In vitro translation is a method for gene expression analysis. It has a variety of applications, including the studies of translation regulation and dynamics; protein expression and optimization of protein expression; protein folding and protein-protein interactions; incorporation of non-canonical amino acids, etc.

CFPS can be adapted to the needs of the project. It can be prepared from different cell types and different organisms, use different reporter mRNAs, and different protein detection systems.
