HDX-MS Structural Characterisation

Identification of protein-ligand binding sites using HDX-MS

HDX-MS (Hydrogen/Deuterium-exchange coupled to Mass Spectrometry) is a powerful method that measures protein dynamics based on the rate of exchange of protein amide protons with the solvent. This method can identify protein interaction sites with any ligand (protein; lipid; small molecule; nucleic acid). It also localizes allosteric modifications of proteins associated with binding events, or with protein modifications (mutation; post-translational modification)
