Trained in Medical Biology and Bioinformatics at the University of Lausanne, Mirjam combines her knowledge of the biological and medical field with the use of medical informatics technologies. She is currently working on bringing semantic interoperability to electronic health record data in the frame of a large national initiative. Before joining the SIMED group Mirjam participated in the development of the semantic interoperability framework within the Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN).
