Post-Doctoral open position

The HUG Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and UNIGE SEED  (reSearch on fEeding, Eating and related Disorders) lab, are looking for a post-doctoral fellow with expertise in structural and functional neuroimaging, and an interest in feeding and eating disorders.

 

Prof Micali has recently started a laboratory focusing on clinical research in the field of feeding, eating and eating disorders; this is a multidisciplinary lab with expertise in genetics, epidemiology, neuroscience, and clinical approaches to the study of feeding and eating disorders. The lab works closely with a newly established clinical for children and adolescents with feeding and eating disorders.

The position will involve contributing to existing research projects (FNS and NIH funded), developing new research projects and grant applications on the neurobiology of feeding and eating disorders, supervising PhD students.

The ideal candidate will have a doctorate obtained in the last 12 months, research experience collecting and analysing structural and functional neuroimaging data, a Master/BA degree in psychology or a related subject, a good publication record, excellent writing skills, and excellent English.

The position will initially be for two years and starts as soon as the candidacy is accepted.
