Adina Kalet, MD, MPH, is a General Internist, Professor of Medicine (tenured) and the Stephen and Shelagh Roell Endowed Chair and Director of the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Institute for the Transformation of Medical Education at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior to moving to MCW in September 2019, she spent 32 years at New York University School of Medicine ending as a tenured Professor of Medicine and Surgery and Co‐Director of the Program on Medical Education Innovation and Research (PrMEIR). The mission of PrMEIR is to advance medical education scholarship and to institute best practices for patient‐centered, evidence‐based medical education. She led the Research on Medical Education Outcomes (ROMEO) unit of PrMEIR, as part of the Section of Primary Care, Division of General Internal Medicine, and Department of Medicine.

Fabrice Jotterand (PhD, Rice University) is Professor of Bioethics and Medical Humanities and serves as Director of the Graduate Program in Bioethics at the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA. He is also the Director of the Philosophies of Medical Education Transformation Laboratory (P-METaL) at the Kern Institute. He holds an appointment as Senior Researcher at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics at the University of Basel, Switzerland.

Samia Hurst is a physician bioethicist, full Professor, consultant to the Clinical Ethics Council of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), director of the Institute for Ethics, History, Humanities (IEH2) and the Department of Health and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva. Former president of the Swiss Society of Biomedical Ethics, she publishes the journal Bioethica Forum. She is also Vice-President of the Executive Committee of CIOMS, and a member of the Ethical Legal Social Issues advisory group of the Swiss Personalised Health Network, the Swiss National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics and the Senate of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences.
