2026–2028, 3rd edition of the Master of Advanced Studies in Philanthropy
Since 2021, the University of Geneva has been offering a certifying degree in Philanthropy designed for philanthropy professionals or anyone wishing to steer their career in this sector.
The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Philanthropy is an interdisciplinary executive education programme that is unique in Europe. It is composed of 3 Certificates in Advanced Studies (CAS): CAS Strategic Philanthropy, CAS Operational Philanthropy, and CAS Frontiers in Philanthropy.
The 2026–2028 edition will start in August 2027. Information and registration will be available from early 2027 on the MAS in Philanthropy website.
As part of its curriculum, the programme also offers a fully online, asynchronous module on Collaborative and Inclusive Philanthropy, allowing participants to learn at their own pace, from anywhere in the world.
The MAS programme in Philanthropy at the University of Geneva's Centre for Continuing and Distance Education is co-founded and co-directed by Danièle Castle, Laetitia Gill and Giuseppe Ugazio, with GCP, GFRI and Genevensis as partners.
Masterclass 2026 - 19 to 21 August 2026
The next edition of the Master Class Philanthropy will be held from 19 to 21 August 2026 at the Château de Bossey (VD).
In 2026, after 12 editions and more than 300 participants in Romandie, Swiss Philanthropy Foundation continues to organise the Master Class in Philanthropy, in partnership with the Center for Philanthropy Studies Basel (CEPS) and the Centre en philanthropie of the University of Geneva.

Our database, which can be consulted here, is intended to be a living document - courses related to philanthropy will be added as they are created and made available here.
