In collaboration with several partners, the GCP offers professionals access to new skills through teaching rooted in research and current practices.

Since 2021, the University of Geneva has been offering a certifying degree in Philanthropy designed for philanthropy professionals or anyone wishing to steer their career in this sector.

2nd edition of a interdisciplinary programme that is unique in Europe, the:

Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Philanthropy
This programme is composed of 3 Certificates in Advanced Studies (CAS):

The MAS programme in Philanthropy at the University of Geneva's Centre for Continuing and Distance Education, co-developed by Danièle Castle, Laetitia Gill and Prof. Giuseppe Ugazio, and in which the GCP, GFRI and Genevensis are partners.

Masterclass 2026 - 19 to 21 August 2026

The next edition of the Master Class Philanthropy will be held from 19 to 21 August 2026 at the Château de Bossey (VD).

In 2026, after 12 editions and more than 300 participants in Romandie, Swiss Philanthropy Foundation continues to organise the Master Class in Philanthropy, in partnership with the Center for Philanthropy Studies Basel (CEPS) and the Centre en philanthropie of the University of Geneva.

Our database, which can be consulted here, is intended to be a living document - courses related to philanthropy will be added as they are created and made available here.
