On the occasion of the retirement of Prof. Henry Peter, who directed the Centre for Philanthropy from its creation in 2017 until December 31, 2024, the GCP is pleased to invite you to the presentation of a new book produced in his honour.

Drawing on her last book "Seeing Others - How Recognition Works and How It Can Heal a Divided World" (Simon & Schuster, January 7, 2025), Prof. Lamont will address some of the most pressing issues of our time. How recognition and dignity can be framed? How can everyone be included in society? These issues are all the more important given recent (geo)political developments in the US and globally.
