H2020 – Topics and calls 2019 |
The final « Horizon 2020 Work Programmes » have been published by the European Commission. They include all the strategic priorities and topics for the calls for proposals 2019. Most scientific areas are addressed. Some specific cross-cutting priorities (sustainable development and climate, digitalisation, international cooperation, societal resilience, innovation) are implemented through newly defined « focus areas » and « other cross-cutting priorities ». |
Projects funded by the NIH and other US federal entities |
To help researchers in charge of projects funded by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other US federal entities manage the ethics approval, continuing review, and incident reporting procedures, the Research Service has published a brief guidance document on its website. |

Three new ITN projects with UNIGE participation have been selected for European funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA). ITN (Innovative Training Networks) bring together universities, research centres and companies from different countries worldwide to train a new generation of researchers. All three projects concern the Faculty of Medicine: |
H2020-MSCA-RISE |
Two other MSCA projects with UNIGE participation have been selected for European funding. The RISE scheme promotes international and inter-sector collaboration through research and innovation staff exchanges, and sharing of knowledge and ideas from research to market (and vice-versa).
