H2020

Data published by the European Commission confirm Geneva and its vibrant innovation ecosystem as one of the Hot Spots of research and innovation in Europe.
Despite the high competition of Horizon 2020, one out of five projects submitted by Geneva-based companies was funded (20% success rate), resulting in a total of 78 top notch projects awarded between 2014 and 2018. The success rate of companies in Geneva is higher than the average of Swiss companies (17.8%) and twice as higher compared to the success rate of all participating companies (10.4%).
We are looking forward to their continuous success with the new funding opportunities of the European Innovation Council, the most business-friendly part of Horizon 2020.
