Benjamin Philippe holds a Master's degree in Modern Literature from the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France). He went to Hungary to teach French as a foreign language for a couple of years, and led a mission for the French Embassy in 2009. Back in Switzerland, he has been in charge of communications for the Fondation Esprit Francophonie, based in Zurich, and worked for the Maison des Langues at the University of Geneva. Benjamin Philippe was a journalist for various Swiss publications, and then specialized in editorial and digital communications. He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) from HEG in Geneva. He has been in charge of communications for various institutions in Geneva Canton and within the department du territoire of the State.
In 2023, Benjamin Philippe joined the Research and Grant Office (RGO) of the University of Geneva. His mission is to keep stakeholders informed, notably through the RGO website and newsletter, and thus facilitate the work of researchers.
