Louise Zelia Carvalho

Louise is of Anglo-Irish-Goan descent, has dual nationality, speaks several languages, and has lived in six countries.  

As a lawyer, Louise has worked in Canada; England; under the UN and EU field missions in post-conflict Kosovo; and at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague. 

Louise joined CERN as a Legal Adviser in 2014, and was later appointed Diversity & Inclusion Programme Leader, carrying out both functions for the Organization.
