Coordination interfacultaire du conseil académique (CICA)

The Coordination brings together the academic advisers from the university's various faculties and centres. Its main aims are to:

to establish consistent and compatible standards, guidelines and practices in the faculties/centres with regard to the application of federal, cantonal and rectoral directives;
to exchange experiences and promote improvements in student counselling and study counselling;
to compile various reports or statements on the application of reforms to courses of study and organisational regulations;
to ensure various exchanges of information between the Academic Council representatives of the various universities;
to act as an easily identifiable contact for the Rectorate and Deanates, thereby facilitating the flow of information between these bodies.

The CICA appoints an internal chair made up of 1 or 2 people responsible for convening, structuring and following up meetings. It meets independently (CICA) or with members of the Rectorat (CICA-Rectorat), as required.
