This research study investigates how Swiss politicians form
their perceptions of the preferences of the citizens they represent.
From exactly this word, represent, we derived the name of the project REP.
The Swiss part of the project located at Geneva University was financed by the Swiss National Science
from 2017 to 2021 under the direction of Prof. Varone and Dr. Helfer.
Since 2022, the project is cofunded by the European Research Council and Prof. Pirmin Bundi at the University of Lausanne is the CoPI of the project.
