28.11.2018 - The RES group contributes to the Final Report of the High-Level Panel of the European Decarbonisation Pathways Initiative

The High-Level Panel of the European Decarbonisation Pathways Initiative has published a report today on the role of research and innovation in achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement and putting the EU at a competitive advantage in the decarbonisation race.

As part of the Horizon 2020 DEEDS project, Prof. Trutnevyte has contributed to Chapter 2 “Decarbonising The Energy Sector In Europe,” Chapter 6 “The Role Of Cities In Decarbonisation," and Chapter 7 “EU Citizens For The Decarbonisation Of Europe: The Role Of Social Innovation And Lifestyles”.

As the next step, Georgios Xexakis and Prof. Evelina Trutnevyte will further contribute to the DEEDS efforts by collecting feedback on the key messages of this High-Level Panel’s report from European policy-makers, businesses, and experts.
