Since July 2022, Zongfei Wang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Renewable Energy Systems group at the University of Geneva. His research is within the SWEET PATHFNDRand the IAM COMPACT projects, focusing on including the transport sector into the spatially explicit electricity sector models for Switzerland and Europe. Prior to joining the group, he obtained his PhD degree in 2022 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany with the dissertation on optimization methods for developing electric vehicle charging strategies.
