Summary
Following his degree in chemistry, Professor Fazil Gülaçar obtained a PhD in mineral geochemistry from the University of Geneva in 1973. After a post-doctoral degree at Stanford University in 1977 with Professor Carl Djerassi, he supervised the Mass Spectrometry Service of the Faculty of Science. He was promoted to professor in 1992 and is author or co-author of some sixty publications
