Practical information

Health and safety at work

Everyone, even those working outside the laboratory, must know and comply with the University's fire and evacuation procedures.

It is essential that everyone working in the laboratory know and scrupulously follow the safety instructions, not only for their own not only for their own safety, but also for that of others.

At the start of practical work, first-year students are trained in the risks to which they are exposed, the risks they need to be aware of, the precautions they need to take and the behaviour precautions to be taken and the behaviour to be adopted, which they must before they can work in the laboratories. As for the staff, they must follow the safety training offered by STEPS as soon as they start work and then periodically, depending on the entity in which they work.
