The Laboratory of Advanced Technology receives the UNIGE Innovation Medal

The Laboratory of Advanced Technology received the Innovation Medal from the University of Geneva (UNIGE). During the Dies Academicus ceremony on the 9th of October 2020, Christoph Renner, Gilles Triscone, Jérémie Teyssier and Nicolas Stucki received the medal from the Rector. This distinction crowns a creative initiative that grew out of the NCCR MaNEP, and which has been jointly managed by the University of Geneva and the HES-SO HEPIA since 2015. The goal of the LTA is to facilitate access to the equipment and skills of research groups within the two partner universities, for both companies and academic research groups. By providing innovative technological solutions, the LTA is a key actor for innovation in companies of all sizes in various industrial sectors, in Geneva and beyond. It also enables the acquisition and maintenance of cutting-edge equipment for the benefit of research and development at the University of Geneva and the HES-SO HEPIA. As a gateway to nearly 160 pieces of equipment and more than 50 research groups, the LTA is committed to ensuring simple and efficient access to innovation.
