The Microbiological Analysis Platform (PAM) provides academics and external structures with a range of expertise to address microbiological issues.

Whether antimicrobial efficacy tests, strain determinations, new antibacterial screens or various other analytical techniques, the laboratory's expertise enables us to implement the tools needed to answer to your questions. We can carry out tests on numerous class 2 pathogens. For any requests or questions do not hesitate to contact us.

Host-Pathogen Interactions  Galex

The Galleria mellonella insect is a model organism for the investigation of host-pathogen interactions. Importantly, this model is well in agreement with the 3R principles (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement) encouraging the use of non-mammalian models. GalEx, a spin-off of the PAM platform, offers assays to determine the virulence and pathogenesis of your bacteria of interest and tests to determine the efficiency of novel antimicrobial agents.
