Within the IHS's Educational grant Program, the Department of Earth Sciences has a ‘User License Agreement’ allowing students and faculty members of the University of Geneva to use Kingdom Software for research and education purposes.

Benefitting from the Educational Institution License granted by Petroleum Expert Limited (1'601'840 £ donation), members and students from the Section of Earth and Environmental Sciences can use the Move Suite, a powerful structural modelling and analysis toolkit, for research and educational purposes. 

 

JMicroVision

JMicroVision is an image analysis tool developed by Nicolas Roduit during his thesis defended in 2007. This application provides tools to quantitatively analyze thin section images.
