Argon-argon lab: The new ARGUS VI mass spectrometer has been installed and its mass discrimation factor very precisely determined. Richard, Danijela and Daniil are trying to obain first in-situ 40Ar/39Ar laser ablation spot ages!
Triton TIMS: The upgrade of the collector unit with 5 new amplifiers with 1E13 Ohm feedback resistors has been successfully terminated. The new equipment will enhance signal/background ratios by a factor of ~3.3 and will be beneficial for more precise U oxide isotope measurements.
