Ongoing eruption at Geldingadalir in the Reykjanes Peninsula (Southwest Iceland). The team of the Volcano Tectonic Laboratory led by Joël Ruch are on site to study the evolution of the strong seismo-tectonic crisis that culminated with the eruption on March 19th, the first in the past 800 years in this region.
