François Plewinski
After studying general mechanical/energy engineering followed by a specialization in nuclear engineering, François worked in French nuclear research facilities for twenty years, in multinational research institutes: - the CEA: nuclear research organization - IRSN (nuclear safety expertise institution) - The Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble (France): the most intense continuous neutron source in the world currently in operation. - ITER near Aix-en-Provence (France): the nuclear fusion research centre under construction - The European Spallation Source in Lund (Sweden): The future world-class pulsed neutron source The various activities I have been able to carry go from studies and design to the operational exploitation of a nuclear reactor, the supervision of nuclear operating teams or design/work projects for these installations.
