Melanoma Screening

Every spring, medical students organise a skin cancer prevention week with free screenings by dermatologists. Registration takes place at the stands only — places are limited.

CMU · 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Free screening, but registration is mandatory.

Registration takes place at the stands only — no registration by email or phone. Please note that as places are limited, we cannot guarantee participation for all interested students.

  • Fair skin, type 1 or 2
  • Frequent sunburns before the age of 15
  • More than 50 moles larger than 2 mm
  • A parent affected by skin cancer
  • Avoid sun exposure between 11am and 3pm
  • Apply at least SPF 30, 30ml for the whole body, every 2 hours
  • Wear a hat, sunglasses and UV-protective clothing
  • Protect yourself even on cloudy days or under a parasol
  • Avoid sunbeds entirely
