Social program

Three social events will be organised before and during the conference.

Pre-conference welcome reception (Thuesday 9th September, 7:00-8:00pm)

Delegates who will already be in Geneva on Tuesday 9th September are invited to join a pre-conference welcome reception from 7:00 to 8.00pm at the Restaurant du Kiosque des Bastions. The venue is located in a beautiful park next to University of Geneva’s historic buildings. The pre-conference reception is free of charge and includes one drink plus snacks. Participants are required to register for the reception. If participants want to book a table for dinner at the Parc des Bastions, they can do so on the registration form. Please note that dinner is not included in the reception and will have to be paid directly at the restaurant.

Conference opening reception (Wednesday 10th september, 6:00pm)

An opening welcome reception will be organised on Wednesday 10th September from 6:00pm. The reception will take place in Uni Mail main hall and will include food and drinks. Participation to the opening reception is included in the conference registration fees and does not need extra registration.

Conference dinner (thursday 11th September, 7:30pm)

A gala dinner will be proposed to conference participants on Thursday 11th September at 7:30pm. The conference dinner will be served at the Grand Hotel Kempinski, right in front of Lake Geneva. The dinner will include a three-course menu, with vegetarian option, as well as coffee and drinks. Participation to the conference dinner costs CHF 70.- and has to be specified at registration. A limited number of tickets for the conference dinner will be sold during the conference at the reception desk.
