Welcome to Geneva !

Getting Here & Around

Geneva can be reached by train, by car and by plane. From the main train station (Geneva Cornavin Station), you can get to different parts of the city via the public transportation. The three most important transport services in the canton of Geneva are combined under the Unireso fare network, meaning one can use the same ticket across this interconnected network that includes trains (CFF), trams and buses (TPG) and shuttle boats (Mouettes Genevoises).

When staying in Geneva, you'll receive a free digital Geneva Transport Card, giving you unlimited access to the Unireso network during your stay. You’ll receive a download link by email three days before arrival, allowing use from the airport onward. Please check with your lodging establishment upon reservation.
