Objectives

The need for evidence based practice and research based interventions has had a significant impact on contemporary family therapy. This International Conference aims to provide a forum for practitioners interested in working with children and families, to hear from international experts in their field about how it is possible to reconcile research and practice.

The objective of this event is to present the latest innovations in family psychology and psychotherapy. The conference aims to gather specialists in the field of contemporary family therapy. Current practice within an evidence-based framework will be discussed.

This event is aimed at all professionals interested in hearing about current family/systemic interventions that are cutting-edge in the field. It will provide a unique forum for practitioners to learn those innovative practices and exchange about the future challenges of working with families.

The conference is co-organized by the University of Geneva and Lausanne, in partnership with the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust, London.
