Rob Thew and Hugo Zbinden awarded Quantum Transitional Measures Grant
Our group leaders, Rob Thew and Hugo Zbinden, have been awarded funding from the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), through the SNSF, to continue their cutting edge research into quantum communication and quantum technologies at the University of Geneva.
The Quantum Transitional Measures Call was a highly competitive funding call aimed to ensure group leaders who conduct cutting-edge, high-impact research are able to continue their projects after the end of Switzerland's affiliation with the Horizon programme. This is part of a ioint proiect with other members of the quantum information and communication (QIC) activities in the department, including: Mikael Afzelius, Nicolas Brunner, and Wolfgang Tittel.
