Through commitment to education, research and innovation, the
region’s academic centres have been able to make major
contributions in many areas ranging from the life sciences,
nanotechnology and informatics to chemistry, psychology and
linguistics.
The Lake Geneva Innovation Society was initially founded through
the cooperation of the University of Geneva. The Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology Lausanne and the University of Lausanne
joined as partners in 2004.
