Who
we are ?
Founded in January 2004, the Lake Geneva Innovation Society helps
innovative science at academic institutions in the region develop
into sustainable, commercial undertakings.
By promoting closer contacts between academic researchers and
Swiss and foreign industrialists, the Lake Geneva Innovation
Society fosters privileged collaborations between academics at the
regions leading universities and institutes and members of the
private sector. |
Over the past two years, the annual Lake Geneva Innovation Society
dinner has focused on the regions strengths in the life sciences,
namely the disciplines of genetics and molecular biology,
bioengineering, oncology, bioinformatics, neurosciences and
clinical research.
It is planned that future events will also address the region’s
considerable competencies in nanotechnology, physics, chemistry,
psychology, linguistics as well as other key capabilities that the
scientific and research institutions have to offer.
The Lake Geneva Innovation Society provides a network of expertise
to promote the transfer of the region’s renowned excellence
in science and research into viable, successful commercial
enterprises.
